Mika lives with her parents in a quiet neighborhood. She is currently writing her dissertation on author James Elroy. Trying to understand all this strange world of murders and extreme behaviors, she undertakes to help a tailor and an amateur detective in a murder case involving a friend's shop. Mika quickly realizes that nothing resembles what she has read in the books. The violence of reality is impossible to be depicted elsewhere, it remains scary forever only in the souls of people.
